DRUM LESSONS

I love to share my lifelong passion for music, especially drumming, with my students.

I’ve had some wonderful teachers and there is no greater joy than passing along to my students what I’ve learned from them and from my own unique experiences.

Some of my great drum teachers: Jerry Granelli, Sam Ulano, Joe Morello, Bob Moses, Marvin “Smitty” Smith, Mike Clark, Elaine Watts, David Licht, Victor Lewis. Education is never finished – I’m constantly learning. I learn from my students all the time, from my children.

I try to balance serious fun with established and rigorous pedagogy.

Many of my former students are now professional musicians and teachers themselves.
